It seemed like yesterday when you used the Flower Power theme in the bedroom for your children. You didn’t notice how fast the time flew but now, you suddenly realized that your daughters are not children anymore. Because they are now in their pre-teens, they have outgrown the cartoon character theme; so it’s time to do some redecorating. Your first question is: ‘what theme to use?’ What about a garden theme?
A garden theme would be an excellent choice because your daughters have just grown out of the ‘girlie’ theme—but they are not grown-up enough for mature themes. A garden-themed bedroom design would be light and not too serious; so it will be appropriate for pre-teens.
