Re-create the Beauty of a Garden in your Bedroom

Gardening is a common favorite when it comes to pastimes and hobbies. Not only does it provide excellent physical exercise to keep you healthy and fit, but it is also a very rewarding experience. Just seeing the wonderful blooms of flowers and the lush green leaves dazzle under the bright sunlight surely makes all the hard work of toiling the soil worth it. If you are the type of gardener who cannot get enough of this rewarding activity, one thing you can do is to create a garden atmosphere right inside your bedroom. This way, you will get the same relaxing and inviting ambience that you get when you visit your garden. Of course, this does not mean that you have to fill your bedroom with all sorts of plants and flowers to the point where you would not know where to sleep anymore. To do it right, here are some great tips to help you get started: 1. Re-create the sunny ambience by choosing a floral wallpaper or floral wall art. Seeing wonderful blooms of flowers on your walls is a nice touch to your garden themed bedroom. These are available in many home improvement stores and local furniture shops. You can also opt to buy these from online stores wherein you will get to have a wide array of choices and discounted deals. 2. Hang botanical or garden photos. Aside from the floral wall art decor, you can also adorn the walls of your bedroom with photographs that you have taken of your garden or any other garden that you love looking at. This will make you feel as if you are at the garden even if you are still inside the house. 3. Choose a bed that is light in design. Ideal options for a garden themed bedroom include a wrought iron bed, ornate brass bed, and cast-iron bed. It is a good idea to get floral bed sheet and pillowcases to go with it. White, off-white, green, pink are some of the nice choices for colors. You may also consider having a bed with a headboard, which has intricate floral or leaf designs. 4. Put natural small plants inside your bedroom.
Of course, nothing beats seeing fresh flowers and plants in the morning when you wake up from your dreamy sleep. These plants can never be replaced with artificial ones because the effect is just not the same. Just make sure that you choose plants that can survive indoors with minimal lighting. It would be best if you would place them near the window so they can at least get some sunlight each day. Take them out occasionally into your outdoor garden. 5. Buy furniture and bedroom accessories that are of a garden theme.
Some of the bedroom accessories that you will need are curtains, drawers, cabinets, shelves, tables, chairs, and linen. It would be great if you can get these things in floral design or with patterns or engravings of flowers and leaves. If you can only spend most of your time in your garden, you would.
