In many homes, the bathroom can be the coldest room. Often, the color scheme in the room does nothing to add to the warmth. You can easily give a large bathroom touches of inviting warmth. In this article, I’ll offer some suggestions for adding modern touches of inviting warmth to your large cold bathroom. Adding Heat to the Space Heat can easily be added to the large bathroom by choosing from a variety of heat lamps. These heat lamps are simple to install. Most heat lamps can be found in the small appliance section of your local home improvement store. If you don’t feel comfortable installing the heat lamp, there are professionals that can quickly and safely install the heat lamp. Heat lamps are manufactured in many shapes and styles as well as various metal finishes. You can find one to match you decor in the bathroom easily. Even if your style is simple white, there are heat lamps in white and other neutral shades. There are also numerous retailers online that offer a great selection of heat lamps. Warming Your Towels Most everyone enjoys a hot towel when they step out of a rejuvenating shower. You can easily add a towel warmer to your bathroom. Some heated towel racks or towel warmers can be found at your local large retailer or online from various companies. Most towel warmers are finished in a metallic color. Warmers will vary in cost depending upon the brand chosen and the size. Other options may be available with each warmer and this will also affect the cost. Heated Flooring Options An ideal way to heat the flooring in your bathroom, heated floor tiles are a great design option. There are many styles of floor tiles in various colors and shades such as tan slate or grey granite. Heated floor tiles can make your floor as inviting as strolling a warm beach of soft sand. You can easily step out of the shower barefoot and walk comfortably across the flooring. Special instructions must be followed to install heated tiling. If you are not comfortable with the installation, you should have a professional to do the installation. Not only is heated tile flooring difficult to install, it can be rather costly as well. It may be well worth the cost to be able to avoid freezing after a hot steamy shower. It can be more cost efficient than other types of contemporary heating; for example, baseboard heating options are rather expensive. These are also rather visually unattractive as well as a potential fire hazard. You will find many models with various features to choose from. These are available in many large retail stores, home improvement stores and online. Warming Decor To give your bathroom a final warming touch, choose wall decor that radiates a feeling of summer and sunshine. Select decor that depicts a spring scene of a mountainous trail or a hot summer day on the beach filled with umbrellas and water. Consider the style, theme, size and material when choosing the perfect wall decor for your bathroom.
